Welcome to the part of the site, which is dedicated to all the passionate collectors of Kinder Surprise.

During these last years Kinder surprise have become a small cultural event, an actual and authentic manifestation of thousands of experts, all passionate collectors and neo-collectors.  Let’s see now in detail what collecting Kinder Surprises means, it’s not an entire collection, but many groups of different collections: 

1.       Series of Italian and foreign Kinder

2.       Series of Italian and foreign non-Kinder

3.       Puzzle and maxi-puzzles

4.       Illustration papers

5.       Metal soldiers and assembled plastic toys

6.       A variety of gadgets (Italian or foreign Kinder dioramas, blisters …… etc.) 

 

Following is a small list of information helpful to whoever would like to start a collection.

 ACCESSORIES:  Small single pieces that complete a figure.  This could be of two different types:  inserted is when it is pushed into the “body” of the figure, or separate, is when it completes the figure by simply placing beside it.

 BLISTER:   Promotional confection.  The figures are placed in a customized box and are covered by a transparent plastic cover.

 HATS:  Cones of adhesive stickers distributed with Kinder eggs.

ILLUSTRATION PAPER or PAPER INSERTS:  These are included inside the eggs with the surprise and illustrate assembly instructions, all the figures of the series and the names of the particular figure or figures.The abbreviation commonly used is BPZ, which derives from the German word  “beipackzettel”. 

ADDITIONAL PAPER INSERT:  These are in addition to the usual illustration paper, much smaller in size and illustrated particular assembly of the hand-painted accessories.  The abbreviation commonly used is ZBA, which derives from the German word “zusatzbeipackzettel”

 BOXES:  Special promotional confections made out of plastic or cardboard in which the series are collected.

 DEPLIANT:  Is a folded publicity that illustrates the figures of the series.

 DIORAMA:  Special promotional confections that the figures can be placed in scenery.

 HAND PAINTED FIGURE:  A miniature of hard plastic, usually hand painted, it could have accessories inserted or separate. The abbreviation commonly used is HP, which derives from the English word “hand-painted”.

 ASSEMBLED FIGURE: Different from the hand painted figures as not made in a unique piece of hard plastic. It’s formed of various small pieces of plastic, which putting together forms the particular figure.

 MAXI SURPRISE:  This is the name that indicates the surprises found in the Easter Eggs.  These special Easter Eggs, much bigger in size, were distributed the first time in 1987, only on the Italian market.  They were then introduced in other European countries but not limited to the Easter period, but also at Christmas.

 PUZZLE:  This is a puzzle divided in 4 parts that placing together form one image.  In each single part is included an illustration paper.

 VARIANT:  This is a figure that presents a variation of color or is completed with different accessory compared to the original.
